You've been reading the engadget/tuaw forums, hain't ya?

haha no that came from the NY Times technology RSS feed, though I do check tuaw some, but not as often as I browse nytimes.com

The tracks always have high voltage signs on them. How does one avoid being electricuted by going down there? Do you have to avoid touching either of the rails entirely, or is it more complicated than that?

isn't it just the third rail that's voltagified? i've never been to nyc, but i know that's the case in paris.

ok, wikipedia seems to be backing me up that it's the same way in nyc

I think maybe you have to be touching multiple rails at the same time, you know, completing the circuit? Regardless, this guy was quite a word smith, I enjoyed reading that bit.

yeah, my favorite part was the guy in the wheelchair. ok, maybe a tie between that and his gf saying she better freeze some of his sperm
